I'm so glad you mentioned that, because I just couldn't understand why I wasn't having a problem with tearing from an older pair of glasses, but was having a problem with the newer pair. The old was with a solid plastic nose piece, but the new pair had the nose pads. Thanks for clearing up that puzzle for me.
